SUNY RF Pre-Award and Compliance System (PACS) is a multi-year collaborative project to support principal investigators, students, and compliance and research administration staff. SUNY RF PACS integrates six aspects of grants management – IRB, IACUC, Conflict of Interest, Grants (proposal preparation), Agreements, and Safety – into a single system. This platform follows the research administration process from beginning to end and allows us to achieve a new level of uniformity and efficiency, while producing valuable data analytics to guide future decisions.
Faculty and staff who have submitted an Annual Conflict of Interest Disclosure and those who have submitted an Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocol are already familiar with PACS. Instructional documents for PACS Grants will be posted soon and the Pre Award and Contract Services staff will be available to provide assistance as necessary.
Faculty and staff must use their Buffalo State credentials to log in to PACS. Click the SUNY RF PACS button at the bottom of the page and select Buffalo State from the "Select your Campus" drop down menu under the Using Campus Login heading. Please note that this applies only to faculty and staff; students will still require a separate PACS login. Students who don't yet have a SUNY PACS account, can register for an account on this same login page.
