Bridget Chesterton, assistant professor of history and social studies education, focuses her research on Latin America, with a particular emphasis on the countries of the Southern Cone, including Paraguay. The president of Paraguay was ousted earlier this month, in what Chesterton describes as a “parliamentary coup.” She shared her expertise with the New York Times in an article published on Tuesday, June 26.
