“Creativity is a natural part of who you are.” That’s the message Gerard Puccio, chair and professor of creative studies, delivered at a recent TEDx talk.
Puccio incorporated a Bengal tiger, conformity, and human evolution into his talk to encourage members of his audience to develop their own creativity. Arguing that creativity is now more essential than ever, Puccio noted that technological products are re-engineered every six to 12 months.
Puccio spoke at Baruch College in New York City as one of a number of speakers presented by TEDxGramercy. TEDx events are independent events operated under license from TED, a nonprofit devoted to “ideas worth spreading.” The first televised TED event will air on PBS in April.
